In the production process of dust-free cloth, its softness index is also very important. The softness of industrial dust-free cloth mainly depends on the stiffness of the dust-free paper sheet and the friction of the surface of the dust-free paper sheet.

    General customers also have certain requirements for the softness of paper. For clean paper, the main factors affecting its softness index are:

    1. The fluff pulp factor: the greater the roughness of the fluff pulp fiber, the greater the stiffness, the greater the friction of the final paper surface, and the worse the softness of the paper; from the comparison of different types of fluff pulp, the general situation is Sulfate pulp is softer than sulfate pulp; using treated fluff pulp (including semi-processed and full-treated) is better than untreated pulp;

    2. It is also related to the retention rate of fine fibers during the forming process. When more fine fibers are retained, the paper sheet is more bulky and the feel is softer;

    3. When the pressure of hot pressing is large, the paper sheet is tight and the softness is poor;

    4. Adhesive factors:

    ① It is the type of adhesive, which must be special latex for clean paper, and the feel is good. After some domestic VAF latex is dried, the surface of the paper sheet is hard and the softness is very poor;

    ② It is the amount of adhesive. Under the condition that the strength can be guaranteed, the amount of latex should be as low as possible, which not only improves the softness, but also reduces the cost;

    ③ It is the distribution of the adhesive in the paper sheet, such as evenly distributed in the inner and outer layers of the paper web when spraying glue, and the softness is better; when the adhesive is distributed on more than two surfaces, the surface of the paper sheet will be rough and hard. Softness drops sharply.
